NASHA Technology: Particle-Based HA for Defined Volume

Non-Animal Stabilized Hyaluronic Acid (NASHA) was the 1996-approved technology behind the original Restylane -- the first HA filler approved for aesthetic use by the EU and 2003 in the US. NASHA creates a gel composed of defined HA particles (100,000 per cc) cross-linked at 1% BDDE suspended in a carrier medium. OBT: Optimal Balance Technology for Natural Lip Movement

Restylane Kysse uses OBT (Optimal Balance Technology), a significant advancement in HA filler cross-linking. Restylane Defyne and Refyne use XpresHAn Technology, which creates HA gels with varying degrees of cross-linking flexibility.
