Incheon Airport Layover? Here’s What You Can Get Done at a Clinic

Published April 7, 2026 · RE:BERRY Clinic Incheon Airport · 8 min read

A long layover at Incheon International Airport does not have to mean hours of restless wandering through duty-free shops and food courts. If you have 3 or more hours between flights, you have enough time to step outside the terminal, visit a professional aesthetic clinic, get a real Korean skin treatment, and return to the airport refreshed and ready for your next flight.

RE:BERRY Clinic Incheon Airport is located on Yeongjong-do, just a 10-minute drive from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. We offer complimentary airport pickup and drop-off, making a layover clinic visit as easy as grabbing a coffee. And considerably more rewarding.

Can You Actually Leave the Airport During a Layover?

Yes. Korea allows visa-free transit for citizens of most countries if your layover is longer than a few hours. Here is a quick breakdown:

  • Visa-exempt countries (US, UK, EU, Japan, Australia, etc.): You can leave the airport freely during layovers. Simply go through immigration, exit the terminal, and return before your next flight.
  • Transit visa required (some countries): Check with the Korean embassy in your country before planning a layover visit.
  • China (72-hour transit): Chinese passport holders can enter Korea visa-free for up to 72 hours during transit, provided you have a confirmed onward flight to a third country.

The process is straightforward: go through immigration with your passport and onward boarding pass, collect your carry-on bags if needed, and head to the pickup area where our shuttle will be waiting.

If you have checked bags, they will be stored at the airport through to your connecting flight (for transit passengers). Carry-on bags come with you, and we store them securely at the clinic during your treatment. If you are ending your trip and have all your luggage, we accommodate that too.

Payment Methods

We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, UnionPay, Samsung Pay, Apple Pay, and cash (KRW). ATMs are available at both terminals for cash withdrawal. Note: most Korean clinics do not accept foreign health insurance for aesthetic procedures.

Post-Treatment Care During Travel

We provide a post-treatment care kit that includes:

  • SPF 50 sunscreen (travel-sized, flight-approved)
  • Soothing sheet mask for the flight
  • Written aftercare instructions in your language
  • WhatsApp contact for Dr. Cho Sung-Jun or Dr. Kim Dong-Young for follow-up questions

How to Book a Layover Treatment

  1. Contact us at least 24 hours before your layover. Send us your flight itinerary (arrival time, departure time, terminal) via WhatsApp or email.
  2. We will confirm timing. Our team calculates whether your layover duration is sufficient for your desired treatments, accounting for immigration time and airport return buffer.
  3. Arrive at Incheon. Clear immigration, head to arrivals, and look for our shuttle driver holding a RE:BERRY sign.
  4. Enjoy your treatment. Consultation, procedure, and aftercare, all in a relaxed, professional setting.
  5. Return to the airport. We guarantee you are back at the terminal with adequate time before your next flight.

Real Layover Stories

A Japanese businesswoman on a 5-hour layover between Seoul and Bangkok got Botox for crow’s feet (₩9,900 per site, 3 sites) and an Aqua Peel (₩39,000). Total cost: ₩68,700 (about $52). She told us the same Botox treatment at her Tokyo clinic costs ¥30,000 ($210). She now books a layover through Incheon specifically for treatments every few months.

An Australian couple on a 7-hour layover used the time for his-and-hers treatments. She got Sofwave 100 shots (₩990,000) and he got body Onda (₩650,000). They explored a seafood restaurant near the clinic between treatment and airport return. “Better than sitting in an airport lounge for 7 hours,” they said.

The Bottom Line

An Incheon Airport layover is not dead time. It is an opportunity to experience world-class Korean aesthetic medicine at prices that would be unthinkable in most countries. From a ₩9,900 Botox touch-up to a comprehensive lifting package, what you can accomplish in a few hours near the airport might surprise you.
